Aca­demic staff mem­ber (m/f/d)

Working field:

  • Teach­ing 2 SWS (1 sem­inar or 2 hours per week)
  • Research to the extent of 50% of the work­ing time for qual­i­fic­a­tion in the con­text of a doc­tor­ate
  • Sup­port of research activ­it­ies at the chair as well as in the aca­demic self-admin­is­tra­tion

Requirements:

  • Very good or good MA degree with soci­o­lin­guistic, lin­guistic-anthro­po­lo­gical or related focus
  • Expert­ise in cul­tur­ally ori­ented lin­guist­ics and ini­tial know­ledge of lan­guage ideo­logy research
  • Interest in mul­ti­lin­gual­ism and lan­guage policy issues in the con­text of mobil­ity, glob­al­isa­tion and/or digit­al­isa­tion
  • Ini­tial out­line for the real­isa­tion of a doc­toral pro­ject
  • Very good know­ledge of Eng­lish, know­ledge of Ger­man, if not avail­able, should be acquired in the course of two years
  • Know­ledge of qual­it­at­ive research meth­ods
