The Leibniz-Centre General Linguistics (ZAS) is a non-university research institute of the federal state of Berlin. At the ZAS, the human capacity for language and its expression through individual languages is explored with the aim to gain a better understanding of the biological, cognitive, and social factors surrounding this central human ability.

The project MeasChange ‘Measures of Change in the grammar of verbal predication’ investigates the grammar of verbs of change (e.g. open, eat, fix, fall) with a particular focus in their behavior in measurement structures. You can visit the project’s webpage for more information:
